Here's a picture of the front of the house. When we bought it there was a door in the boys' room upstairs that went out onto the roof. We didn't think that was a very good plan so here is a picture of where it was. There was also a chimney that came out the lower roof on the front and blew smoke right into the windows of the upstair. The roof on the front part of the house leaked and ruined the ceiling in that front room so that whole part of the roof was torn off. Here is a picture of that process.
Here's how it looks after. We haven't repainted or anything, we just painted the parts we added and repaired. Hopefully repainting the house is in the plans for the summer. We'll see.
